Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Deventic's software, APIs, and services (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Services

Deventic provides regulatory intelligence, zoning analysis, document generation, collaboration, and API access. The Services may evolve over time. Features may be added, modified, or deprecated with notice.

3. Accounts & Access

You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your account. Access may be provisioned by role (e.g., admin, contributor, viewer). You agree not to share credentials or bypass access controls.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: misuse the Services or attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with system operation; upload unlawful content or content that infringes IP or privacy rights; use the Services to provide legal advice to third parties or misrepresent outputs as authoritative determinations.

5. Data & Content

Your Content: You retain ownership of documents, project data, and inputs you upload. You grant Deventic a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Services.

Regulatory Data: Deventic aggregates and structures public regulatory sources. Source materials remain owned by their respective publishers.

Outputs: Generated outputs are provided "as-is" for decision support and must be reviewed by qualified professionals.

6. AI & Decision Support

The Services provide analytical support, not legal determinations. Outputs may surface uncertainty and require human approval for high-impact decisions. You remain responsible for final compliance decisions and submissions.

7. API Use

API keys are confidential. Rate limits and usage tiers apply. You may not resell or provide access to the API except as expressly permitted.

8. Security

Deventic implements administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. You are responsible for configuring access controls and reviewing outputs before external use.

9. Fees & Billing

Fees, billing cycles, and refunds (if any) are described in your order form or pricing page. Taxes may apply.

10. IP

The Services, software, and regulatory data models are Deventic's intellectual property. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is." Deventic does not warrant that outputs are error-free or suitable for any particular project without professional review.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deventic's liability is limited to the fees paid in the prior 12 months. No liability for indirect or consequential damages.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate per your contract. Upon termination, access ends and data handling follows the Privacy Policy and your data retention settings.

14. Governing Law

State of Delaware. Disputes resolved in Delaware courts.

15. Updates

Terms may be updated with notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
